Another progress shot! Today we got enemy AI working fairly well. The temporary enemy sprite, evil blue Danny, will follow the player. If the player moves, the enemy will recalculate where to go in order to always stay on your trail. We set the speed of this enemy to be slightly slower than your speed.
We also implemented our stats system that takes into consideration HP and whatnot. The default system implemented by the engine we found to be insufficient because it automatically kills (read: deletes) the player so we built atop of it to have something more amiable.
